CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

Summary

As a Mechanic III / Site Lead, you will be responsible for the performance and leadership of the maintenance operation of C-12 aircraft at the site.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises employees and interfaces with government representatives.
  • Direct, schedule, and monitor site operations, site personnel, and work efforts.
  • Must be able to work during the day shift, swing shift, night shift, and/or weekend shift as required.
  • Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and aircraft modifications.
  • Performs other duties related to the occupational field as assigned to include TDY and travel.
  • Annotates maintenance actions in aircraft records/forms and completes associated Management Information System entries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensures safety and quality compliance at the site.
  • Manages and plans logistics and resources at the site.
  • Accomplishes inspections including, but not limited to preflight, thru-flight, basic post-flight, and phase inspections.
  • Performs operational checks of all aircraft systems and maintains aircraft appearance and cleanliness.
  • Performs all tasks associated with ground movement of aircraft including operating all associated ground support equipment and uses hand tools, special tools, and fixtures applicable to aircraft.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of recent hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years maintaining King Air/1900 Airliner series aircraft.
  • Minimum of at least one year experience as a site lead.
  • Must possess an FAA A&P certificate.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and speak clearly and concisely in English.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance and Passport. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain the clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain clearance to assigned location including medical clearance and visa.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of aircraft hand tools, special tools, and test equipment is required.
  • Must have a working knowledge of aircraft safety requirements and know how to operate portable firefighting equipment.
  • Work typically requires a comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair as well as the ability to determine functionality of complex electrical systems.
  • The ability to read, interpret, and comprehend schematic diagrams, drawings, charts, and technical publications is required.
  • Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds is required .
  • Must be able to obtain a flight line driver’s license.
