Irie Yard is a new Jamaican Restaurant located in East Legon, Accra, specializing in authentic Jamaican jerk chicken fresh off the BBQ daily. The restaurant offers outdoor seating and serves customers through takeaways and delivery services.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Kitchen Assistant/Cook at Irie Yard in Legon. The Kitchen Assistant/Cook will be responsible for food preparation, cooking delicious Jamaican meals, maintaining food hygiene standards, providing excellent customer service, and managing food and beverage orders.
Qualifications
- Food Preparation and Cooking skills
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene practices
- Customer Service experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Experience in a similar role is a plus
- Culinary certification or training is beneficial
