Job Summary

Stone Depot Limited, a leader in the natural stone industry, is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and manage all human resource functions across our operations. From recruitment to employee relations, performance management, compliance, and training, the HR Manager will ensure a productive, engaged, and compliant workforce across our office, showroom, and fabrication sites.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage recruitment for both administrative and technical roles (e.g., fabricators, installers, sales reps, admin staff).
  • Prepare job descriptions, post openings, and lead interview processes.
  • Oversee onboarding to ensure smooth integration of new hires.


Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary contact for staff issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Promote a collaborative and respectful work culture.
  • Advise managers on handling workplace conflicts and misconduct.


Performance & Development

  • Implement performance review systems and appraisal cycles.
  • Support line managers in setting and tracking KPIs.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate skills development programs.


HR Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure full compliance with Ghanaian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and leave registers.
  • Develop and update company HR policies, handbooks, and disciplinary procedures.


Payroll & Compensation

  • Coordinate monthly payroll and deductions with the Finance team.
  • Administer benefits including SSNIT, Tier 2 & 3 pensions, and leave entitlements.
  • Track staff attendance, absences, and overtime—especially for site-based roles.


Safety & Workplace Welfare

  • Collaborate with HSE teams to reinforce safety procedures at fabrication and installation sites.
  • Promote staff wellness and address workplace safety concerns.



Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or mining industries is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Ghana Labor Act and practical HR compliance experience.



Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to balance field and office-based HR support.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and problem-solving ability.
