Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting our HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and administrative tasks. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a solid understanding of HR practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
- Maintain updated job descriptions for all roles within the firm.
Employee Relations:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, addressing concerns professionally and confidentially.
- Support managers in handling employee grievances and conflict resolution.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through team-building initiatives and employee engagement activities.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
- Support managers in tracking employee performance and identifying training needs.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
- Facilitate performance reviews.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, personal details, and disciplinary actions.
- Prepare and submit reports related to HR metrics and workforce analytics.
Administrative Support:
- Manage employee attendance, leave requests, and payroll inputs.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure HR processes align with operational goals.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Coordinate payroll processing with the finance team.
- Handling routine employee inquiries and concerns.
- Distributing internal communication such as memos or updates.
- Supporting disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Managing HR office supplies and resources.
- Coordinating with external vendors for HR services like insurance or wellness programs
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Serve as the point of contact for employee grievances.
- Recommend initiatives to boost employee morale and engagement.
- Support conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
Learning and Development:
- Carry out a monthly soft skill training program.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an HR role, preferably in the construction or related industry.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
