Job Summary

We are looking for an HR officer who will assist the HR Manager in the day-to-day operations of the HR department at Vecomity Ghana Ltd. The role is pivotal in ensuring that HR functions are well-executed and aligned with the overall business goals of the company. The successful candidate will manage various aspects of human resource operations, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, performance management, compliance, and the administration of HR policies and procedures.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing HR-related queries and concerns.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and grievance handling.


Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Assist in the development and execution of recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.



Performance Management:

  • Support the HR Manager in the development, implementation, and execution of performance management systems.
  • Collaborate with department heads and managers to set performance standards and goals for employees.


Training and Development:

  • Identify the training needs of employees based on performance appraisals and business goals.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of in-house and external training programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to ensure they meet the company’s needs.


Compliance and Policy Management:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations, as well as industry standards.
  • Assist in the development, revision, and communication of HR policies and procedures.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Support the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and employee benefits.
  • Assist in conducting compensation surveys to ensure the company offers competitive pay and benefits packages.


HR Administration and Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze HR reports, metrics, and data for management decision-making.
  • Track HR KPIs and contribute to the improvement of HR strategies based on data analysis.


General HR Support:

  • Provide general HR support across all areas of human resources management.
  • Assist in the execution of employee engagement programs and initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in an HR management or supervisory role.
