About the Role

Are you an experienced HR professional looking to make an impact in a fast-paced and growing retail & distribution company?

We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled HR Manager to join our team in Ghana. This is a pivotal role for a talented individual who combines a strong command of payroll operations with a passion for talent development and organizational growth.

As part of a leading player in the FMCG and retail sector, you will work in a multicultural, high-energy environment and play a central role in aligning HR practices with business strategy — while ensuring compliance and efficiency in all people-related matters.


Key Responsibilities

? Payroll Management

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, benefits, and statutory deductions.
  • Collaborate with finance and external providers for payroll audits and reporting.


? Human Resources Development

  • Drive talent development initiatives, including training programs, performance reviews, and career path planning.
  • Support the implementation of HR projects that align with company strategy and local needs.
  • Actively promote a culture of growth, accountability, and employee engagement.


? HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure all HR practices comply with Ghanaian labor laws and company policies.
  • Lead employee relations and manage a variety of staff populations across departments.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.


? Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work effectively under a dual reporting structure, balancing local and regional HR expectations.
  • Support change management efforts and organizational transformation initiatives.


Profile & Qualifications

5 to 10 years of proven experience in HR, with a solid track record in payroll management and talent development

✅ Strong understanding of Ghanaian labor laws and HR best practices

✅ Fluent in English; French proficiency is a plus

✅ Comfortable working with diverse teams and populations in a dynamic and evolving environment

✅ Hands-on, proactive, and people-oriented

✅ candidate with solid local experience
