About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled HR Manager to join our team in Ghana. This is a pivotal role for a talented individual who combines a strong command of payroll operations with a passion for talent development and organizational growth.
As part of a leading player in the FMCG and retail sector, you will work in a multicultural, high-energy environment and play a central role in aligning HR practices with business strategy — while ensuring compliance and efficiency in all people-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
? Payroll Management
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
- Maintain and update payroll records, benefits, and statutory deductions.
- Collaborate with finance and external providers for payroll audits and reporting.
? Human Resources Development
- Drive talent development initiatives, including training programs, performance reviews, and career path planning.
- Support the implementation of HR projects that align with company strategy and local needs.
- Actively promote a culture of growth, accountability, and employee engagement.
? HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure all HR practices comply with Ghanaian labor laws and company policies.
- Lead employee relations and manage a variety of staff populations across departments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
? Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work effectively under a dual reporting structure, balancing local and regional HR expectations.
- Support change management efforts and organizational transformation initiatives.
Profile & Qualifications
✅ 5 to 10 years of proven experience in HR, with a solid track record in payroll management and talent development
✅ Strong understanding of Ghanaian labor laws and HR best practices
✅ Fluent in English; French proficiency is a plus
✅ Comfortable working with diverse teams and populations in a dynamic and evolving environment
✅ Hands-on, proactive, and people-oriented
