Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and experienced HR Business Partner to join its Ghana operations. This role is a key part of the local leadership team, reporting directly to the Country Manager and with a dotted reporting line to the Head of HR, West Africa Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full HR function in Ghana, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with the broader organizational HR strategy.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and implement HR strategies and policies in alignment with AAK Group directives and Ghana operations.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes in line with AAK standards.
- Manage all HR administration including contracts, payroll, tax, and SSNIT compliance.
- Maintain accurate HR data, personnel records, and performance metrics via HR Information Systems.
- Oversee compensation and benefits structure with alignment to market standards.
- Develop and execute learning & development plans and succession planning for key functions.
- Ensure employee relations and workplace culture reflect AAK’s “Great Place to Work” values.
- Provide advisory support to internal managers and staff on all HR matters.
- Coordinate with external partners, labor consultants, and service providers on HR compliance.
- Support expatriate onboarding and base support per contractual terms.
- Assist the Regional HR team and participate in global HR initiatives and projects.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a multicultural or multinational company.
- Strong knowledge and application of Ghana labor laws, compliance, and HR operations.
- Excellent experience across all HR functions – recruitment, learning & development, compensation, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Advanced understanding of HR systems and data management.
- Experience in managing HR budgets and operational costs.
- Ability to influence, coach, and communicate at all levels of the organization.
