JOB SUMMARY

The commercial Officer would support the Commercial Manager in the generation of rates and quotation, invoicing of jobs discharged, all within client and project timelines.        

TASKS AND DUTIES

·       Invoicing of all jobs

·       Rates and Quotations

·       Client account management:

Ø Addressing Clients needs

Ø Responding to email requests

Ø Periodic client visitations

Ø Liaising with other departments to ensure job delivery.

Ø Following up for waybills

Ø Keeping an updated job sheet

Ø Follow up on payments of jobs executed and invoiced.

·      Work on pre-qualifications and vendor registrations.

·      Comply with all HSE rules and regulations and ensure others also do same.

- Any other duties as and when assigned.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES / QUALIFICATION

Demonstrated ability to work with little or no supervision.

Proven administrative and management abilities.

Demonstrated ability to multitask.

Candidates must have a minimum of an HND in Accountancy, Business Management or related fields.

Professional qualifications in logistics and transport (e.g. CILT) will be an advantage.

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

Not less than three (3) years of strong industry and professional experience within the transport and logistics sector.
