Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships. Ideal candidates will have a background in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering, coupled with 2–5 years of experience in sales or business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Strategy:
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential business opportunities.
- Develop and implement growth strategies to expand the company’s market presence.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and presenting tailored solutions.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Identify and pursue leads to achieve sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and sales pitches.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics.
Industry Engagement:
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive offerings.
- Represent Bluestone at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering.
- 2–5 years of post-university experience in sales, business development, or related roles.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
