BILINGUAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE)

CATEGORY: SALES AND MARKETING

LOCATION: ACCRA

Our client, a market leader in the automotive industry is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to help generate sales for the company.

ROLE PROFILE

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to increase vehicle sales, improve customer satisfaction and manage business relationships with suppliers and other partners within the international wholesale markets. He or she will perform the following duties as well:

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Explore new geographies and identify new business opportunities.

·        Conduct market research and report to the Head of Department on a regular basis

·        Prepare monthly & quarterly plans and meet the requirements.

·        Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.

·        Responsible for planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

·        Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones.

·        Responsible for finding and developing new markets and improving sales.

·        Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the industry, including new models, features, and accessories.

·        Train personnel and help team members develop their skills.

·        Maintain sales and utilization quota results in the assigned territory.

·        Develop a framework to accelerate a digital go-to-market strategy that enables products, service offers, and business models to scale quickly to meet market demand.

·        Maximize key relationships to create synergies, alliances and opportunities.

·        Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

·        A minimum of bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales or a related field

·        A minimum of 4-5 experience as a Business Development Manager with a background in Business Development and B2B Sales

·        Proficiency in English and French

·        Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role

REQUIREMENTS

·        Ability to understand business opportunities to distributors/Dealers/Govt Organizations & other potential avenues

·        Ability to work in a highly demanding environment

·        Must have a dynamic and flexible approach to business and daily challenges 

·        Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team

·        Results-oriented, innovative thinker with a focus on continuous improvement

·        Must have strong report-writing abilities and an entrepreneurial spirit

·        Proficient in word, excel and PowerPoint

·        Must have knowledge/experience in international trade/imports & exports
