Warehouse Supervisor

Our client, a multinational agricultural company, seeks a qualified Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate should have strong operations, supply chain and logistics background. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you collaborate with other hubs and internal departments to streamline logistics, improve processes, and foster an inclusive, safe, effective and efficient work environment. You need to be organised, detailed and have strong coordination skills to succeed in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Supervise the successful receipt of commodities from the site and Supporting Hubs within the cluster.

● Organise and monitor the effective storage of commodities, in either silos or warehouses, ensuring proper

handling and optimal storage conditions.

● Assist in planning for production and external logistics needs, ensuring the hub has the resources

necessary for effective and efficient operations.

● Maintenance of all equipment and storage facilities, ensuring that all machinery function properly and

that storage spaces are in optimal condition.

● Plan and execute internal transportation schedules for effective and efficient movement of goods from

Supporting Hubs to the Mega Hub, minimising delays and maximising productivity.

● Use inventory management software to log and track the movement of goods, ensuring effective

operations.

● Develop and propose process enhancements to streamline production and logistics.

● Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

● Provide reports to supervisors and management as required, including updates on commodity quality,

production output, and storage levels.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

● Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field. A

Master’s degree will be an added advantage.

● 5-7 years of experience as a supervisor in operations, logistics, or a similar environment, ideally within

a grain processing facility or related industry.

● Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to create a positive and productive

work environment.

● Experience in inventory management, logistics coordination, and quality control.

● Proficiency with inventory management systems and software.

● Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various teams and stakeholders.

● Salary: Earn a salary between GHS 6, 000.00 and GHS 10,000.00 (net) based on experience and

qualifications.
