Role Description

We're inviting volunteers to join our dynamic team as Video Editors . This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to SeveighTech's video content, including editing video episodes for our Developer's Log podcast and creating content for our social media platforms. This is a remote position that offers flexibility and the chance to work in a collaborative, creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit podcast episodes, both audio, and video, ensuring high-quality production and a seamless final product.
• Create short, compelling video clips for social media promotion tailored to our audience.
• Edit YouTube video content in alignment with our brand guidelines and platform strategies.
• Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to ensure content aligns with the overall marketing strategy.
• Assist in brainstorming creative ideas for audio and visual content.
• Optimize audio and video content with sound design, effects, and storytelling for maximum engagement.

Requirements

• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Strong creativity and artistic vision to create visually engaging content.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, meeting deadlines and project goals.
• Proactiveness, willingness to take the initiative, and responsibility for assigned tasks.
• A passion for learning and growing within the role.
• Attention to detail with a strong aesthetic for sound and visual design.

Qualifications

• Experience in video production, editing, color grading, and motion graphics is a plus.
• Background in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, or related fields (pursuing or completed).
• Enthusiasm for technology and media creation, with a desire to contribute to impactful projects.
