Your main duties will be to oversee the registration of collateral assets, inclusive of landed properties to provide security against the possibility of payment defaults and reduce credit risk associated with any unsecured financial transactions

  • Adhere to quality standards, turnaround times and Company policies and procedures.
  • Complete relevant administration, reporting and updating of information accurately and on time.
  • Resolve client or departmental enquiries relating to title registration updates to prevent conflict as well as incorrect title registrations.
  • Review and request monthly performance updates and reports from all Registration Service Providers, Lands Valuation Division, Survey and Mapping Division, Public and Vested Lands Management Division and Lands Registration Division.
  • Ensure that customers have paid for the registration of accounts as part of the Administration Registration accounts process.
  • Attend collateral review meetings to update team regarding loans, defaults, and collateral registration process.
  • Draft monthly abstracts for the home loans quarterly newsletter to educate customers on the average registration turnaround times to avoid the number of complaints and requests that come in for information.
  • Review and sign off on collateral predisposition checklist and deed perfection before a loan is approved to ensure collateral is registerable.
  • Follow up and track outstanding documents from vendor and clients to enable the registration of collateral.
  • Investigate new ways to optimise processes.
  • Flag opportunities to migrate to platform and supports the use of technology in process and system improvements.
  • Draw on knowledge and experience to identify and develop solutions that lead to improved service delivery and quality.
  • Provide timeous reports on operations, performance and audit findings.
  • Report on transactional activity progression within set guidelines to provide timely information for decision making in area of accountability.
  • Contribute to teamwork and inclusivity within own team.
  • Manage team performance in the area of responsibility.

You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You Have

  • Relevant qualification, preferably BSc in Land Economy or Bachelor of Law degree
  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience
