Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Sales
- Sell Sky Agro products and services to farms and or companies.
- Finding potential clients, creating a list of sales leads and finding companies or agents to purchase products and services.
- Educating customers on products, ingredients, mixing, inventory management.
- Stay current on industry trends.
- Effective territory sales management.
- Meet assigned sales targets
Demand Generation
- Working with farmers to generate demand for revenue.
- Sustaining sales targets prospects, pipelines and orders to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Expanding Sky Agro’s contacts with farms and farmers, agencies and other stakeholders in the agricultural industry.
Stock Availability
- Ensuring stock availability and on-time liquidation
Target Segments
- Identifying target segments and focusing on value proposition for farmers
Relationship
- Developing relationships with key influencers.
- Build and grow market share of Sky Agro.
- Includes travel to other locations.
- Any other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications & Requirements:
- HND/Degree in agribusiness, agriculture, economics, animal and crop science or related field.
- 3+ years’ agriculture sales experience and customer focused environment.
- Sales and marketing skills.
- Knowledge of the agriculture industry.
- Previous work experience with agribusiness in feed distribution.
- Deep knowledge in concentrate and complete feed.
- Presentation. reporting, dealer management skills.
- Must have a valid driving license with at least two (2) years’ experience

- Calm, confident and assured communicator.
- Strong understanding of products and services.
- Effective Territory management.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to deal with customer issues/problems in a polite and courteous manner.
- Ability to prioritize workload, cope under pressure with flexible and adaptable approach and find solutions to problems.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- High integrity and trust worthy
- Must have the ability to communicate with diverse personalities.
- Must have a client service orientation.
- Outgoing personality, with the ability to empathize with customers.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional appearance and results – driven mindset.
- Trustworthy and able to accurately handle transactions.
