Role Description
The Technical and Production Lead at a TEDxUniversityofCapeCoast Countdown event plays a crucial role in delivering a seamless and professional experience.
Duties
- Video Production Management: Overseeing the recording, editing, and broadcasting of video content to ensure that it meets TED's standards. This involves selecting appropriate equipment and managing the technical crew.
- Event Equipment Coordination: Ensuring that all AV equipment is set up correctly, including microphones, cameras, screens, and lighting.
- Live Streaming and Broadcasting: If applicable, managing the live stream setup to broaden the audience reach through digital platforms.
- Photography Coordination: Capturing high-quality images of the event for use in promotions and archiving.
- Technical Support: Providing technical assistance throughout the event to address any immediate technical issues that arise.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: experience with video production, audio-visual equipment, stage setup, lighting, and audio management.
- Leadership Skills: ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Experience in Event Production: familiarity with event production processes and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Passionate about TED's Mission: motivation aligned with TED's goals and a strong interest in idea-sharing.
- Strong Communication and Collaborative Skills: effective communication with the team and other departments.
- Applicants must be students at the University of Cape Coast.
