P Maersk Ghana is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Agent in Tema. The position holder will have to ensures optimal management of all the logistical resources made available to him/her in view of the execution of all operations within the contractual deadlines in the most efficiency manner and under the prescribed security conditions by APM Terminal.



Also, He/She will have to be the main coordinator of the physical operations execution of the fleet department and documentation preparation for billing.



Key responsibilities:







Receive the planning of operations and equipment available.

Coordinate with CX/Depot/OCL to get files.

Organize and assign drivers to different operations.

Monitor and communicate constantly & regularly with drivers to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Handle all challenges and avoid any waste of time in the execution.

Anticipate any operational challenges to minimize operational impacts.

Push to avoid idle time for our trucks

Prepare all data for billing

Ensure Archive of documentation

Reports any incidents during the shift

Establish the final report of the shift activities (feedback report) and share with the fleet supervisor.



Required experience, skills and competencies:







Bachelor in Shipping or transport and logistics.

min 2 years of experience in Shipping or transport and logistics.

Knowledge in road transportation.

Conversational English level and fluency in French.

Analytic, well organized, energetic, and problem solver

A self-starter with sense of urgency and time management

Able to work under pressure
