Job Summary
We are looking for committed Teachers to join our Private Schools in Ghana. As a Rising Teacher, you will be responsible for preparing and implementing a full teaching plan according to the school’s requirements. You will provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills. The teacher will ensure classes are well organized to make student learning and development an easy and meaningful process.

Job Description/Requirements
The Rising Teacher will:
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that align with Rising’s curriculum.
- Deploy a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technology to enhance the unique learning needs and experience for students.
- Administer regular assessments, tests, and examinations to assess student progress and to inform instructional decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and guardians.
- Enforce effective classroom management strategies and address any disciplinary issues constructively with child safeguarding in mind.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and welfare of students within the classroom and on school premises by strictly complying with and implementing Rising's safeguarding policies, health and emergency protocols.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment while enforcing our positive behavior for learning strategies and encourage growth mindsets amongst students.
- Foster open and effective communication with parents or guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress, goals, and challenges.
- Participate in all parent-teacher conferences and school events.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills; Community of Practice, Weekly Training, and Rising Institute.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree/HND/Diploma in education (teaching) in a specialized subject.
- General degree in any discipline with genuine passion for education/teaching.
- Proven experience as a teacher is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow Rising’s policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-organized and committed to student learning and development.
- Creative, Energetic, Strong moral values and discipline
- Knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection and CPR

Location and reporting:
- This is a full-time on-site position. The Rising Teacher will report directly to your School Manager in your assigned school. You will be placed in one of our schools at Weija-Kasoa, specifically across the following locations -Weija-Oblogo, Asempa, Ayigbe Town, Kokrobite, Opeikuma, Kasoa CP, Brigade, etc.
