SUPPLY CHAIN / FINANCE ANALYST
Subsidiary: Genser Energy Ghana Limited (GEGL)
Location: Several Locations, Western Region, Ghana (West Africa)
Report Directly to: Finance & Administration Associate
Subordinate: None
Designation Level: Entry Level
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Procurement: Assist in sourcing suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate contracts.
- Evaluate suppliers’ performance and contribute to establishing good relationships with key vendors.
- Ensure compliance with agreements.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct stock audits, and implement inventory control measures.
- Organize and classify materials, equipment, and spare parts at stores.
- Ensure appropriate store planning and layout.
- Adhere to prescribed storage plan for neatness, safety, and ease of handling.
- Prepare daily stock checks.
- Logistics Coordination: Arrange transportation, track shipments, and manage delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
- Supply Chain Initiative Support: Support the implementation of Supply Chain initiatives.
- Enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Forecast demand for materials and services.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement and inventory transactions.
- Prepare reports on supply chain performance and key metrics.
- Financial & Administration Support: Provide general administrative support as needed.
- Raise requests on Sage and follow-up on payments.
- Make sure that Sage X3 is always updated.
- Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSc in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Supply Chain.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Finance or Supply Chain.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel.
