Job Summary
Sidan Associate & Partners, a leading construction company, is seeking a highly skilled and detail- oriented Structural Engineer to join our team. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the structural integrity of building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and construction processes, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality and safe construction solutions.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze structural components for construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed structural designs, calculations, and drawings, ensuring they meet project specifications and local codes.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure structural designs integrate seamlessly with other building systems.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, ensuring work complies with approved structural designs.
- Perform structural assessments and risk analyses to identify potential design flaws or safety issues.
- Provide recommendations for material selection, load-bearing capacity, and structural stability.
- Oversee the preparation of structural reports and documentation, including calculations, specifications, and design drawings.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure that the structural components are completed on time and within budget.
- Address any structural concerns or challenges that arise during the construction phase.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure the effective implementation of design plans and resolve any issues that arise.
- Ensure that all work complies with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as health and safety standards.
Qualification and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. -Master's degree or relevant certifications in Structural Engineering is an advantage.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
- Experience in designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of residential, commercial, or industrial structures.
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, SAP2000).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, structural standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Strong understanding of materials science and construction methods.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. -Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Employment Type: Full Time
Salary Range: GHS 4,500.00 (plus benefits and perks)
