Stock Auditor

Responsibilities:

• Record stocks as it is delivered; inspect and advise on storage according to company’s policy.
• Conduct daily physical inventory check, compare results to computerized inventory, and reconcile any differences and report on it weekly to COO and Auditors.
• Record daily outside stocks and reconcile the same.
• Make requests for the replenishment of stocks as needed to the warehouse.
• Ensure transfers of stocks to the trucks for delivery are done in a timely manner and according to schedule.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate stock listings.
• Schedule stocks being transferred to and from the warehouse and coordinate transfer of stocks between warehouses.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
• Enforce operating instructions and safety policies at the warehouse.
• Resolves routine equipment issues.
• Perform inventory controls and keep the quality standards high for audit purposes and report discrepancies, if any.
• Ensure that goods received by the warehouse are matched with the actual invoices from the suppliers.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to implement and ensure a control system to reduce damage, breakage and stock spoilage.
• Take records of damages and ensure the same is adjusted from the system.
• Carry out spot checks on stock balances in the warehouse as against the system records to capture any anomalies;
• Prepare and maintain file records for stocks received and issued (sales).
• TRADE SALES
• Ensure delivery routes are planned well
• Ensure all Clients pay for trade deliveries and on time.
• Reconcile and key all necessary payments for trade deliveries same day.
• Count trade monies in the absence of the accountant.

Other Requirements:

• Male
• HND / Degree in accounting or stock audit with 5 years’ experience in stock management

Salary Range: Ghc 1700.00 TO Ghc 2500.00
