Job Summary
A Special Education Teacher is an educator who specializes in teaching children with learning disabilities. Special Education teachers develop and provide tailored teaching plans to meet the learning needs of students. - Experience Length : 3 years
Job Description/Requirements
- Assess children’s learning abilities and adapt the existing curriculum to accommodate the individual learning needs of each student.
- Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed.
- · Assesses student progress and determines the need for additional reinforcement or adjustments to instructional techniques.
- Collaborate with the support staff (Physical Therapist and Speech Therapist) to help children develop and socialize.
Requirements
- · Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role
- A bachelor’s degree in Education; Master’s or Ph.D. is a plus
- A patient, resourceful, and resilient personality.
