Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with the company’s goals and target audience.
- Research and analyze competitors and trends within the beauty and fragrance industry to ensure the brand stays ahead.
Content Creation & Management:
- Create, curate, and manage high-quality, visually appealing content (photos, videos, reels, etc.) showcasing the brand’s products, promotions, and campaigns.
- Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posts across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, etc.).
- Collaborate with photographers, graphic designers, and influencers to develop professional and user-generated content.
Community Engagement:
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.
- Foster and grow an online community by interacting with followers and encouraging user-generated content.
Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute creative social media campaigns and product launches to drive traffic, sales, and brand visibility.
- Monitor and optimize paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance metrics such as reach, engagement, website traffic, and conversions.
- Prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations to improve performance.
Trendspotting:
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, beauty influencers, and platform algorithm changes.
- Identify and implement innovative ways to promote the brand on emerging platforms.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the beauty, makeup, or fragrance industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to craft engaging captions and responses.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Experience in content creation, including photography, videography, and basic editing.
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
- Experience with influencer marketing and collaboration.
- Knowledge of the beauty and fragrance market, trends, and audience preferences.
