Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Visual Content: Take high-quality photos and videos during tours, showcasing destinations and the travel experience. Edit and enhance these visuals to ensure they are engaging and on-brand for Uprise Travel.
  • Engage with Followers: Respond to comments and messages promptly, building a strong and interactive community of travelers.
  • Plan & Schedule Posts: Develop a content calendar and schedule posts in advance to ensure a consistent online presence.
  • Run Campaigns: Create social media campaigns highlighting special offers, events, and new tours.
  • Track Performance: Monitor social media metrics and create reports to measure the success of campaigns.


Key Criteria & Skills:

  • Experience: Proven experience in social media management, especially in the travel or tourism industry.
  • Photography & Videography Skills: Strong skills in taking great photos and videos, with the ability to capture the essence of our tours and destinations.
  • Editing Skills: Proficient in photo and video editing using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Premier Pro, CapCut or similar software.
  • Creative Content Creation: Ability to create engaging content that tells the story of our tours and engages potential customers.
  • Good Communication: Strong writing skills to craft compelling posts and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Platform Knowledge: Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Youtube, X) and how to optimize content for each platform.
  • Passion for Travel: A passion for travel and enthusiasm for sharing the unique experiences that Uprise Travel offers.


Preferred Qualification

  • Experience with social media advertising (e.g., Facebook and Instagram ads).
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and tools for tracking performance.
  • Academic Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media,
  • Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field
