Snr. Software Engineer

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills. 

Responsibilities

Provide technical and implementation oversight for AO Holdings Enterprise Digital applications.

Monitor and manage the scope of work aspects of assigned projects.

Interface with Project Manager to understand requirements and deliver product functionality.

Understand the operating systems that the client organization is using so that they can build or upgrade the software accordingly.

Develop logic for programming through flowcharts and algorithms.

Code programs using programming languages like Python, Django/Node.JS/React, C, C++, JAVA, .Net, JavaScript, etc., and make modifications in the databases whenever possible.

Analyze existing software and find out defects or incapability within them and get involve in the development process.

Understand the architecture of the systems and give specifications to the development team involved in the development process so that the systems developed are compatible to the operating system, hardware etc.

Create a culture of innovation within the company by promoting new ideas and proposing resources needed for effective research and development.

Work closely with designers, engineers, and other members of the team to develop new ideas or improve existing ones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Expertise in Object Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
