Job Summary

The Site Manager will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of Blossom Academy’s educational site, ensuring a positive environment for both students and staff. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational skills, and experience managing educational or training environments. They will be the key point of contact for all site-related activities, including logistics, student experience, and operational efficiency.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Site Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily operations at the site, ensuring that all facilities are functioning effectively and efficiently.
  • Coordinate logistics, including classroom setups, IT resources, and material distribution
  • Manage site-related budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective resource use.


Student Experience and Support:

  • Ensure a positive and supportive learning environment for all students, addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Foster an inclusive atmosphere that promotes student growth and development.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for students on-site, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed promptly.


Event and Activity Coordination:

  • Organize and manage events, including student career fairs, training sessions, and guest speaker engagements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of educational activities and training programs.


Facility and Resource Management:

  • Maintain the educational site’s infrastructure, ensuring the facility is safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
  • Liaise with external vendors for repairs, IT support, and any required services.
  • Ensure the office is equipped with the appropriate resources to aid productivity.


Staff Collaboration:

  • Work closely with instructors, administration, and program staff to ensure alignment with program schedules and student needs.
  • Support staff in delivering educational programs and help resolve any operational challenges.
  • Approve leave requests of staff members as and when required.


Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure that health and safety protocols are in place and adhered to by all students and staff.
  • Manage any emergencies or crises that may arise, ensuring the safety and well- being of students and staff.
  • Strategic Planning and Improvement:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for improving site operations and student experience.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of new programs or initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall student experience.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in site or operations management, preferably within an educational or training environment.


Skills:

  • Strong organizational and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage budgets and operational resources efficiently.
  • Proficient in the use of technology, including Microsoft Office and other relevant platforms.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
