Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure projects are executed according to plans.
• Monitor project timelines and milestones, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.

Site Supervision:

• Ensure all construction activities comply with design specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential issues.
• Manage site workers and allocate resources effectively.

Quality Control:

• Monitor and ensure the quality of materials and workmanship.
• Implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections at various stages of construction.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials, and progress reports.
• Provide regular updates to project managers and senior management.

Safety Compliance:

• Enforce health and safety protocols on-site to prevent accidents.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.

Budget Management:

• Assist in cost estimation and ensure projects stay within budget.
• Identify and address potential cost overruns or resource shortages.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in real estate.
• Professional certification in engineering is an advantage.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and standards.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plans.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
