Shop Attendant

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store, providing personalized service to help them find the fabrics and materials they need.
• Offer expert advice on fabric types, uses, and care instructions to ensure customers make informed decisions.
• Measure and cut fabrics accurately according to customer specifications.
• Handle sales transactions, process payments, and manage cash register operations.
• Maintain the store’s appearance by cleaning shop, organizing shelves, displays, and inventory in an attractive and orderly manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering and restocking as necessary.
• Keep up-to-date with new fabric arrivals, sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist in planning and setting up in-store promotions and events.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience, preferably in a fabric or craft store, is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, especially when measuring and cutting fabrics.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements.

Working Hours: Weekdays: 6am to 7pm and Saturdays- 7am to 6pm

NOTE: Candidates should live around North Kaneshie and its environs.

Candidate should be willing to work for 2yrs or more.
