Job Summary
The Senior Manager, FP&A is responsible for planning including preparation of annual organizational budgets, producing periodic forecasts covering profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow. The Senior Manager, FP&A is also responsible for providing decision support on new and ongoing projects undertaken by the Company including business case preparation for capital investments and new products and services. This will include running financial models and producing regular reports to monitor performance of such projects.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of the annual budget; support Management to ensure department budgets align with Corporate directives;
- Provide financial analysis and ensure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals
- Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts covering the profit and loss account, cash-flow statement and balance sheet
- Ensuring that all budget/planning processes run effectively and comply with required legislation while meeting all deadlines
- Prepare business cases and financial models to support/determine expected return on new projects, existing operational activity, proposed tower builds and similar activity
- Prepare regular reports to monitor profit and loss and operation of defined KPI’s on new and special interest projects
- Conduct post evaluation reviews of projects that have been completed with a view to evaluating deviations from plan and working with the concerned function to achieve project objectives
- Ensure that requisitions are within agreed budget and flagging deviations from agreed budgets
- Conduct in-depth review of projects or accounts to give the CFO and wider business an understanding of issues driving the project
- Prepare reports and presentations for the CFO that aid in management decision making, reviews from the Corporate office, Board meetings and any other such activity
- Assist the CFO on other projects and operational support as may be assigned from time to time
- Work closely with other teams to ensure the organization’s strategic goals and performance objectives are met
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned.
- Supervise the FP&A team.
- Proactively identify and resolve personnel issues in conjunction with Human Resources
- Recruit, develop and retain staff, partnering with Senior Management and Human Resources. This includes on-boarding and orientation for new hires.
- Provide disciplined performance management for team. Define and communicate annual goals, perform formal and informal performance reviews, and ensure changes and updates are communicated in a timely and professional manner.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- Minimum of eight years professional experience in a finance close environment with 3+ years’ experience supervising a team
- Extensive experience on Financial Planning and Budgeting
- Wireless telecommunications industry experience is preferred
- Experience in Oracle Financials preferable
Environment:
- Approximately 90% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Approximately 10% travel within Ghana may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 kilos.
