Job Summary
Senior IT Manager, Data Engineering is a key member of the Data Engineering leadership team and is part of Enterprise Data & Analytics organization that utilizes thought leadership to design, deliver, and operate the capabilities that transforms our business. This role is responsible for enabling and supporting product-oriented delivery teams and is crucial to the success of the organization and has a direct impact on our ability to drive the business forward. These teams create data products and consumption capabilities that meet the needs of our enterprise, analyst communities, and downstream systems that utilize data to drive the business. This role reports to the Director, Data Engineering at Data and Analytics organization at Genesys.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- To build, maintain, operate, and own Data Engineering Solutions and its delivery that supports enterprise data needs, analyst communities, and downstream systems that consumes data driving Genesys.
- Builds strong partnership with Genesys Business teams during various phases of data lifecycle. Excels at stakeholder management.
- Fosters a culture of continuous engineering improvement through data driven approach envisioning the bigger picture.
- Possess an overarching and innate desire to do the right thing. Is Action biased and drives growth mindset in the team. A Problem solver.
- Partners with Product Management, Data Engineering, Data and Analytics Leadership team and other stakeholders to work on detailed delivery roadmap for the team.
- Follows agile practices and delivery. Support career development of the team by mentoring and coaching. Attract and built Talent.
- Leads data operational maturity including Data quality, SLA adherence, Monitoring and Alerting.
- An evangelist for the business value that IT delivers.
