Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Guard to protect our premises, staff, and assets by maintaining a secure environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patrolling the premises, monitoring access points, responding to security incidents, and enforcing safety regulations. The role requires keen observation, quick decision-making, and excellent communication skills. The Security Guard will also play a crucial role in preventing unauthorized entry, handling emergencies, and ensuring the overall safety of people and property.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Premises Surveillance & Patrol
- Conduct regular patrols to maintain order and detect potential security threats.
- Establish a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and unauthorized access.
- Inspect doors, windows, gates, and all entry/exit points to ensure they are properly secured.
- Monitor and control crowd behavior when necessary to prevent disruptions.
Access Control & Monitoring
- Check IDs, permits, and authorization documents before allowing entry to restricted areas.
- Prevent unauthorized entry by ensuring only permitted personnel and visitors access the premises.
- Monitor security surveillance cameras periodically to detect any unlawful activities.
- Maintain a log of visitors, deliveries, and employees entering or leaving the premises.
Incident Response & Emergency Handling
- Respond swiftly and professionally to alarms, security breaches, or emergencies.
- Investigate suspicious behavior and report findings to the relevant authorities.
- Handle conflicts, altercations, or disturbances calmly and effectively.
- Assist individuals in distress or emergencies.
- Report all security incidents and prepare detailed management documentation.
Property Protection & Rule Enforcement
- Enforce company policies and property rules to maintain order and safety.
- Prevent theft, vandalism, and other unauthorized activities within the premises.
- Assist in scanning and inspecting deliveries for suspicious or prohibited items.
- Work closely with law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
Compliance & Communication
- Follow instructions and security protocols from supervisors and clients.
- Report any malfunctions, hazards, or safety violations to management.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service when assisting visitors or employees.
Education & Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification: Senior High School (SHS) certificate or higher.
- Age Requirement: Must be between 18 and 45 years.
- Candidates above 45 years must have an SSNIT number.
Skills & Competencies:
- Must be able to speak, read, and write good English.
- Strong people skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, visitors, and clients.
- Must be physically fit and alert.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
- Must be disciplined, punctual, and reliable.
Background & Legal Requirements:
- Must have no criminal record.
- Must possess a valid Ghana Card for identification and employment verification.
