Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies to improve our website’s visibility, drive organic traffic, and increase conversions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct keyword research: Identify relevant keywords and phrases to optimize website content.
2. Analyze website performance: Use tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to monitor website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
3. Develop and implement SEO strategies: Create and execute plans to improve website ranking, drive organic traffic, and increase conversions.
4. Optimize website content: Ensure website content is optimized for keywords, meta tags, titles, and descriptions.
5. Build high-quality backlinks: Develop and implement link building strategies to increase website authority and ranking.
6. Stay up-to-date with SEO trends: Continuously educate yourself on the latest SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website design and content creation.
8. Monitor and report on SEO performance: Provide regular reports on website performance, including keyword rankings, traffic, and conversion rates
Requirements
1. Proven SEO experience: At least 3+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of success.
2. Strong understanding of SEO principles: In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, including keyword research, link building, and on-page optimization.
3. Experience with SEO tools: Proficiency in using SEO tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective SEO strategies.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate SEO strategies and results to stakeholders.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field*: Relevant education and training in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Nice to Have
1. Certifications in SEO or digital marketing: Certifications like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or SEMrush can be an added advantage.
2. Experience with content management systems: Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla can be beneficial.
