Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to oversee both retail and corporate sales operations. This role combines the responsibilities of managing retail sales teams and driving corporate sales strategies to achieve overall business growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales leadership and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies across multiple channels.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
Retail Sales:
  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team to consistently meet sales targets for cases and premiums.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, focusing on prospecting, lead generation, appointment booking, and sales closing.
  • Organize and conduct institutional presentations and sales activations to promote products and services.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure team goals are met.
  • Vet proposal forms and ensure timely submissions, maintaining high standards of professional sales practice and client service.
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales reports for management review.
Corporate Sales:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve corporate sales targets and expand the company's market presence.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate sector, building strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Organize and conduct high-profile corporate presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals with corporate clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients and maintain strong client relationships.

Skills and Competencies Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the life insurance industry or a related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in both retail and corporate sales environments.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to recruit, manage, and motivate a sales team to achieve high performance.
  • Excellent people management and emotional intelligence skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and team members.
  • In-depth knowledge of life insurance products, including group life, credit life, and welfare policies, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, decision-making, and problem-solving.
  • Strong proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to lead a salesforce of over ten members.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, network, and broker business deals.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting and decision-making.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Corporate Sales Manager:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a corporate sales manager role, preferably within the life insurance industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate clients.
  • In-depth knowledge of life insurance products, including group life, credit life, and welfare policies.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented.
