Job Summary

You will be based at the Ghana East Legon office, and responsible for dealing with all reactive inquiries. Your main job responsibility will be to drive new business for groups, events, and travel & tours.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities;

  • Your primary role will be new business focused.
  • You will have experience in dealing with Diasporas and international corporations.
  • You will have specific revenue targets and will complete all requested activities to achieve them.
  • This is a heavily revenue centric focused job, therefore you MUST have the experience of bringing new revenue into a company.
  • You will have a client portfolio that you can bring into the company
  • You will up sell individual products, services or packages
  • You will also manage extremely large Client groups of which is the core of the company.
  • You may also be required to travel to visit Clients and will have weekly appointment targets.
  • You will be required to support the operations ground team on busy sessions as needed, including some evenings and weekends, and at events and large bookings you have arranged.
  • You will have a full driving license in order for you to visit client offices at ease. (Travel expenses will be provided for by the company)
  • Networking and business socializing are a key part of the role, and you will also regularly be required to attend meetings in other locations across the country.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify business leads and sales opportunities by pro-actively driving awareness of being the face of the business, attending networking events and via all appropriate social media channels.
  • Plan and conduct effective weekly outreach in the local area to gather data, build relationships with local businesses and raise the profile of the company.
  • Hit pre-set targets on banked bookings. (conversion)
  • Identify local and countrywide marketing and activity to be involved with and liaise with relevant departments to organize.
  • Complete all reporting in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Creation and implementation of a strategic Sales Plan with support from your line manager.
  • Complete cold calling and warm calling on a weekly basis and hit telesales targets.
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline to meet or exceed targets
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process - Researching, sourcing, engaging and closing leads
  • Build a strong network by attending events and building relationships with senior level contacts Develop solution based proposals and identify up-sell opportunities together with the operation team
  • Be a team player, of which you will be responsible to manage all personnel and motivate. (Monthly reviews, appraisals etc)
  • Exhibitions and events, representing the company and its products and services.
  • Social Media and directing the necessary companies or personnel to manage effectively.
