We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team, a leading soap and detergent manufacturing company. Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share for soap and detergent products.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including potential markets, distributors, and retail partners, to drive sales growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitor activities.


Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure success.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the sales department.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement professional development plans for team members.


Marketing Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provide input on product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities based on market insights.
  • Collaborate on the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, product catalogs, and sales presentations.
  • Support the planning and execution of product launches, trade shows, and promotional events.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide feedback to optimize future efforts.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain trust and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular visits to key accounts and distributors to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.


Budget Management:

  • Prepare and manage the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure all activities are within budgetary constraints.
  • Provide financial forecasts and reports to senior management.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide market insights and feedback for new product launches.
  • Work with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer demand.
  • Partner with the finance team to ensure accurate sales forecasting and revenue tracking.



Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Experience in managing distributor networks and retail partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of the soap and detergent market, including customer behavior and competitor landscape.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving targets.
