Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share for soap and detergent products.
- Identify new business opportunities, including potential markets, distributors, and retail partners, to drive sales growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitor activities.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure success.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the sales department.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement professional development plans for team members.
Marketing Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide input on product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities based on market insights.
- Collaborate on the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, product catalogs, and sales presentations.
- Support the planning and execution of product launches, trade shows, and promotional events.
- Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide feedback to optimize future efforts.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain trust and loyalty.
- Conduct regular visits to key accounts and distributors to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Monitor expenses and ensure all activities are within budgetary constraints.
- Provide financial forecasts and reports to senior management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the product development team to provide market insights and feedback for new product launches.
- Work with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer demand.
- Partner with the finance team to ensure accurate sales forecasting and revenue tracking.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Experience in managing distributor networks and retail partnerships.
- Strong understanding of the soap and detergent market, including customer behavior and competitor landscape.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
