Job Summary

A Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling a company's products or services, generating leads, and achieving sales targets. They play a key role in the sales team by building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that meet their requirements. To increase company revenue by identifying and closing sales opportunities. Sales Officers interact with customers, promote products or services, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Generation:

  • Identify potential customers and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Promote and sell the company’s products or services to prospective customers.


Customer Engagement:

  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations, explaining features and benefits.


Market Research:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Identify new opportunities in the market to expand the customer base.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs and market conditions.


Negotiation & Closing Sales:

  • Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations to customers.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.


Sales Administration:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and share updates with the sales manager.
  • Ensure timely processing of orders and delivery of products or services.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to interact effectively with customers.
  • Persuasion & Negotiation: Strong ability to persuade customers and negotiate deals.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service
  • Sales Acumen: Knowledge of sales techniques, processes, and market dynamics.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to handle different customers and market conditions.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Sales experience in dealing with corporate and government agencies are preferred.
