Job Description/Requirements

The Sales & Business Development Specialist will lead the business growth objectives of the business. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.



The successful candidate will be responsible and primarily focused on identifying business growth opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales. You will establish and maintain relationships with these clients and manage the full end-to-end customer journey. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales. Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.



The Role









Develop and implement a strategic business plan to achieve revenue growth

Identify opportunities, research their requirements, conduct research, present proposals, negotiate deals, and close deals

Keep abreast of market trends and competitive activities, maintain current knowledge of industry trends

Utilize all business tools and systems, including but not limited to CRM etc

Collating and maintaining client information in the CRM database.

Working closely with staff across segments to implement growth strategies.

Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.

Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.

Work to make business development efforts efficient and cost-effective

Successfully master all operational challenges in the sales and delivery process for clients

Keep up with changes in the compliance function and Placement process and report where necessary

All company and compliance procedures, rules and regulations to be followed and adhered to.



 

Desired Skills and Experience





Requirement and skills









A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role (experience in insurance sales will be an advantage)

Proven experience working as a business development executive or similar role

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Proficiency in MS Office applications

Detailed oriented and strong business acumen
