Xandel Electricals, a leading retail electrical shop in Dome, is looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers in selecting the right electrical products, provide expert guidance, and drive sales through excellent customer service. This role requires strong product knowledge, a proactive sales approach, and the ability to maintain organized inventory and displays. Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting electrical products.
- Explain product features, benefits, pricing, and proper usage to customers.
- Offer technical advice to help customers choose the best solutions for their electrical needs.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Stay up to date on the specifications, applications, and latest trends in electrical products (e.g., cables, circuit breakers, lighting fixtures).
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales.
- Process customer transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist in stocking, organizing, and displaying inventory to maintain a well-presented store.\Conduct regular inventory checks and report stock shortages or damages.
- Keep accurate records of sales, returns, and customer preferences.
- Ensure shelves and product displays are neat, clean, and well-stocked.
- Gather customer feedback and share insights with management for continuous improvement.
- Follow safety protocols when handling electrical products.
- Participate in training sessions to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of SHS certificate or equivalent (additional technical training in electrical products is a plus).
- Previous experience in retail sales, especially in an electrical or hardware store, is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of electrical products and their applications is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills to drive revenue.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be customer-focused with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
