Job Summary

We are looking for Sales and Marketing Executive who will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to promote J.O. Agyapong Company Limited’s products and services. The role involves identifying new sales opportunities, building strong customer relationships, managing marketing campaigns, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong sales acumen, creative marketing skills, and a passion for customer engagement.

Job Description/Requirements

  • Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

Sales Planning:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and targets in line with the company’s growth plans.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, target audiences, and potential clients.


Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Identify, prospect, and convert new clients by presenting company products and services that meet customer needs
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.


Sales Target Achievement:

  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets by driving the sales pipeline and securing new business.
  • Regularly report on sales performance, identifying challenges, opportunities, and areas for improvement.


Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution:

Marketing Planning & Implementation:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to design and implement marketing strategies and campaigns that support the overall brand vision and objectives.
  • Develop and manage campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including social media, email marketing, print, and events, to generate leads and drive brand awareness.


Brand Development & Management:

  • Assist in managing and promoting the company’s brand identity through consistent messaging, advertising, and marketing materials.
  • Ensure that all marketing materials (brochures, product catalogues, websites, social media) align with the brand’s tone, values, and objectives.


Content Creation & Promotion:

  • Create compelling content for promotional materials, including social media posts, email newsletters, blog articles, and product descriptions.
  • Collaborate with the design team to produce high-quality visuals, presentations, and advertisements that effectively communicate the brand message.


Market Research & Analysis:

Market Intelligence:

  • Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Gather competitor insights and identify areas for differentiation and growth.


Customer Feedback & Insights:

  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve the product offerings and refine sales and marketing strategies.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through surveys, interviews, and follow-up communication.


Sales Administration & Reporting:

Sales Forecasting & Reporting:

  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, tracking all leads, prospects, and opportunities in the CRM system.


Event Coordination & Promotion:

  • Assist in organizing and promoting company events, trade shows, exhibitions, and other marketing activities that help promote the brand and drive sales.
  • Represent the company at events, building relationships with key stakeholders, and generating sales leads.


Customer Service & Support:

Customer Support:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues related to products, services, or sales transactions.
  • Provide post-sales support to clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns that may arise during the post-purchase phase.


Relationship Management:

  • Conduct regular follow-up with clients to ensure product satisfaction and identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Build a customer-focused sales approach to ensure long-term, positive relationships with all clients.


Skills and Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a strong focus on both sales targets and marketing campaigns.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media, Google Ads, email marketing software, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
