We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Resort Manager to oversee the daily operations of our evolving boutique resort operating on a mixed serviced and self- service model . The ideal candidate will ensure a high standard of guest experience, smooth resort operations, and efficient team management. This role requires a balance of hospitality excellence, operational oversight, and financial acumen.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience & Customer Service

  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements based on reviews and surveys.
  • Oversee check-ins, check-outs, and personalized guest experiences.

Operations & Facility Management

  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of villas, common areas, and resort facilities.
  • Ensure the seamless operation of both serviced and self-service offerings, including housekeeping schedules, amenities, and guest supplies.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of essential supplies (e.g., linens, toiletries, kitchen essentials).
  • Work with contractors and service providers for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with local laws.

Staff Supervision & Leadership:

  • Lead, train, and manage resort staff, including housekeeping, front office, and maintenance teams.
  • Develop work schedules and assign responsibilities to optimize efficiency.
  • Foster a positive work environment with strong team communication and morale.

Financial & Administrative Management

  • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures.
  • Manage room rates, promotions, and revenue optimization strategies.
  • Handle guest billing, payments, and reservation systems.
  • Monitor occupancy rates, prepare performance reports, and present insights to stakeholders.

Marketing & Sales Support

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the resort through online platforms, partnerships, and direct sales efforts.
  • Work with OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) and reservation platforms to manage listings, pricing, and guest communications.
  • Develop relationships with local businesses and tourism operators to enhance guest experiences.



Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in resort, hotel, or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication (English & Twi) and interpersonal abilities.
  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost control.
  • Knowledge of property management systems (PMS) and online booking platforms.
  • Ability to handle operational challenges and adapt to guest needs.
  • Background in maintenance oversight and facility operations is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience managing boutique resorts, villas, or vacation rentals.
  • Multilingual skills (depending on guest demographics).
