We’re at the forefront of cancer research in Africa, headquartered in Accra, Ghana with footprints in North, East and West Africa. We use cutting edge immunogenomics, nano-technology, bioinformatics and artificial intelligence to accelerate the development of cancer detection and cure strategies, ultimately with the goal of lowering the economic burden of cancer on the African continent.


We are seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented Research Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate must be bilingual in French and English.


Job Purpose

In this role, you'll coordinate and manage various clinical research projects aimed at advancing our understanding of cancer in Africa. The role will oversee the strategic planning and execution of day-to-day research activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.


What you'll do

·      Collaborate with senior management and scientific leadership to develop and refine the execution of multiple research projects.

·      Oversee the day-to-day execution of multiple research projects across several geographic regions, ensuring they are on track and meeting established project goals, milestones and timelines.

·      Coordinate activities and facilitate communication between teams of internal and external research, clinical, and administrative support teams.

·      Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress, outcomes, and potential risks and challenges that could impact project outcome and propose mitigation strategies.

·      Identify ongoing resource needs and optimize existing resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective project execution while maintaining high-quality research standards.

·      Ensure that research activities are conducted in compliance with research protocols and good clinical practice (GCP).

·      Collaborate with regulatory and technical services, clinical affairs to manage any compliance-related matters.

·      Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of project activities, research findings, and progress reports.

·      Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.


What we're looking for

·      A Master’s, MD or equivalent degree is required

·      Proven experience in coordinating or managing clinical research projects

·      Experience in budget management and resource allocation for research programs.

·      Proficiency in project management and data analysis tools.

·      Fluency in both French and English is required

·      Training in human subject protection and other regulatory compliance frameworks.

·      Willingness and ability to travel within Africa.
