Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Onboarding
- Proactively identify and acquire new Mass Retail and MSME customers through outreach, referrals, and branch walk-ins.
- Conduct client onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with KYC (Know Your Customer) and regulatory requirements.
- Present and promote the bank’s products and services to potential clients, tailoring offerings to meet their specific needs.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring regular engagement to understand and address their needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Mass Retail and MSME clients, providing personalized support and resolving queries or issues promptly.
- Conduct periodic reviews of client accounts to identify cross-selling or upselling opportunities for products like loans, deposits, insurance, and digital solutions.
Credit Sales and Loan Management
- Promote and sell credit products tailored to Mass Retail and MSME clients, such as personal loans, SME loans, and working capital finance.
- Assist clients with loan application processes, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
- Monitor loan repayments and follow up on delinquencies, working closely with the Branch Manager to mitigate credit risks.
Customer Education and Engagement
- Educate customers about the bank’s digital platforms and services, such as mobile banking, online banking, and self-service channels.
- Provide guidance to MSME clients on financial literacy, business growth opportunities, and leveraging the bank’s services to scale their operations.
- Organize and participate in branch or community events aimed at engaging Mass Retail and MSME clients.
Sales Target Achievement
- Work towards achieving branch-specific sales targets for deposits, loans, and other retail products, as outlined by the Branch Manager.
- Develop and execute action plans to meet individual and branch-level goals.
- Regularly report progress on sales and client engagement activities to the Branch Manager.
Data and Market Insights
- Gather and analyze customer data to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities for service improvement.
- Provide feedback to the Branch Manager on customer needs, competitor activities, and potential market opportunities for Mass Retail and MSME segments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and transactions.
Operational Support
- • Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring smooth branch operations by coordinating with other staff members.
- Support the implementation of branch-level campaigns and initiatives targeting Mass Retail and MSME clients.
- Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance in all interactions.
Risk Management
- Monitor client activities to identify and flag potential risks related to fraud, account misuse, or default.
- Work with the Branch Manager to implement strategies for risk mitigation, particularly in credit management for MSME clients.
Qualifications
- •Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in the Banking Sector.
- A good first degree in any discipline. Masters degree or accounting or banking professional qualification will be an added advantage.
