Job Summary
Sanford Health-Ghana is seeking to recruit a Regional Representative who will the regional focal person for Sanford Health in the Program Management Unit (PMU) of the IHPs. He or she would be stationed at the regional program office and coordinate the program component pertaining to private pharmacies within the region. Under the overall supervision and guidance of Sanford Health-Ghana (SH-G) and direct supervision of the Project Coordinator/Technical Advisor (SH-G), the Regional Representative will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of SH-G component of the Integrated Health Partners (IHPs) at the regional level. The position holder will be responsible to the Project Coordinator/Technical Advisor in supporting the implementation of the Private Pharmacies and Chemical Sellers component of the Network of Practice (NoP) which includes planning, designing, networking, implementing, training/guiding, monitoring and evaluating interventions and play an active role in coordination, technical assistance and advocacy with Regional and District Health Management Teams (RHMT & DHMT), local community and other stakeholders. He or she will serve as part of the extended arm of Project Management Unit of the IHP (PMU) at the regional level and work closely with field officers and liaise with Regional Health Management Team (RHMT) and District Health Management Team (DHMT) in ensuring the project deliverables are met.

Job Description/Requirements
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Project Management Unit (PMU) at the regional level by serving as the coordination focal point for SH-G with respect to the Private Pharmacy interventions at the regional and district levels, represent SH-G in accordance with instructive guidance provided by the Project Coordinator/Technical Advisor
- Assume shared responsibility for implementation of SH-G component of the NoP at the regional level and ensure the achievement of project results through successful management of SH-G component in accordance with the strategies and work plans provided by the Project Management Unit (PMU) working through the Project Coordinator/Technical Advisor
- Assume responsibility for networking with private Pharmacies and Chemical Shops to provide educational material and resources to support the implementation of NoP.
- Play a key role in recruitment of field officers in conjunction with the Project Coordinator/Technical Advisor and the SH-G Project Team.
- Assume organizational responsibility for monitoring of field office operations, including the coordination of shared resources among field officers in accordance with instructive guidance provided by the Project Coordinator/Technical Advisor and the PMU
- Directly monitor and supervise the work and activities of the field officers in the region and districts with a view to achieving program results as indicated in their KPIs
- Participate in meetings and other stakeholder engagements that call for SH-G representation at the regional and district-levels.
- Represent SH-G where necessary with respect to key stakeholders in the operationalization of the NoP at the regional and district levels.
- Maintain regular communication with Project Coordinator/Technical Advisor and the SH-G Project Team to ensure alignment with other ongoing activities.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on the status of implementation, including field monitoring and evaluation activities in accordance with approved guidelines, and as may be directed by the Project Coordinator/Technical Advisor.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Project Coordinator/Technical Advisor
Required Experience:
- Previous experience working in the pharmacy sector is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, as demonstrated through previous employment experience, including the ability to act as a bridge and mobilize support across diverse stakeholders.
- Previous work experience with use of reporting tools and written communication skills.
