Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Technician

Job Description:

• Responsible for maintenance and repairs of all refrigeration and air- conditioning components.
• Responsible for new refrigeration and air-condition installation, modification alteration to the existing ones.
• Responsible for daily utilities readings and maintenance duty log books.
• To follow the planned preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance programme.
• Responsible for the cold room’s operation, maintenance and repairs.
• Responsible for maintenance and repairs of all kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Assist in monitoring and supply of all utilities at all times
• Good in Excel and report writing
• To be fully familiar with all Health and Safety policies relevant to the maintenance department and to ensure they are adhered to.
• To be abreast with issues of Legislation regarding Health and Safety, firefighting equipment and electricity applicable to the maintenance department.
• Higher National Diploma in Refrigeration & Air-conditioning (Minimum)
• Experience – 4-6 years of experience in the hospitality Industry.
• Skill- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software to be able to generate varied reports.
• Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude even under high pressure
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Location: The preferred candidate must be around Akosombo or its environs
