Job Summary
A Multinational Financial Institution seeks the services of a Records Officer for their Head office in Accra.
- Minimum Qualification : HND
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 3 years
- Working Hours : Full Time
Job Description/Requirements
General Description:
- Responsible for arranging files in accordance with filing system used;
- Responsible for coding files for proper placement.
- Responsible for retrieving files as necessary within 48 hours.
- Responsible for retrieving files and making photocopies of mandate documents for direct debit clients within 48 hours.
- Responsible for ensuring all retrieved files are well documented and duly acknowledged by the recipient.
- Responsible for ensuring that files given out are duly returned to the archives.
- Responsible for cleaning and maintaining file space.
- Responsible for removing old files as per archives/company policy.
- Responsible for weekly submission of productivity (Friday of every week) and monthly reports.
- Responsible for maintaining a register for all old files duly destroyed per company/archives policy.
- Responsible for logging all files that are removed.
- Responsible for ensuring files are accessible and that the records center is well kept.
- Responsible for ensuring no materials in the file are lost.
- Responsible for maintaining a location register for all files stored at the records center.
- Responsible for ensuring that all loan files are indexed by branch staff.
Educational Requirements:
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in archival studies
