Quality Control Lab Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform prescribed testing of raw materials, work in progressing inventory and finished goods to ensure conformance of materials that meet the company’s high quality standards.
• Must be able to record and interpret test results accurately. Prepare reports summarizing test outcomes and contribute to the evaluation of product quality trends.
• Must maintain laboratory equipment in good working conditions. Perform routine calibrations, adjustments and preventive maintenance tasks on laboratory instruments.
• Must have general knowledge in research and development projects, including testing new materials, formulations or production processes to improve product quality or efficiency.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures in the laboratory environment. Good manufacturing practices (GMPs) as well aa relevant product safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• HND or BSc in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/Food Science.
• 3-5 years’ minimum work experience and or training.
• Knowledge of microbiology, chemical testing principles, GMPs and HACCP standard required
• Good knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel Access and PowerPoint application’s required.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
