Quality Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate CAPA investigations from issue identification through implementation of solution and effectiveness monitoring. 
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure adherence to established quality standards and regulatory requirements. 
• Conduct regular internal audits of processes, procedures, and products to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance. 
• Conduct supplier audits to review and evaluate supplier processes against internal requirements, current standards, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance. 
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern, and provide actionable recommendations to address issues and enhance performance. Work with relevant teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for nonconforming product. 
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures and provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators. 
• Assist in receiving, in-process and final inspection.
• Schedule and maintain calibration of equipment. 
• Other tasks as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• High School graduate. 
• ISO9001, AS9100 or similar background. 
• Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools. 
• Knowledge about quality control for electronics manufacturing. 
• Able to communicate in oral and written form. 
• Good decision-making skills. 
• Attention to detail. 
• Must be organized and able to prioritize duties and responsibilities. 
• Must demonstrate initiative, innovation, and problem-solving skills.  
• ERP system utilization. 
• Accurate use of precision measuring devices including calipers, micrometers, ring, plug,  and pin gages.
