Job Summary

As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance (QA) team in testing software applications and ensuring their quality and functionality. You will work closely with senior QA analysts and software developers to identify and report software defects, track issues, and verify bug fixes.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

● Assist in the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

● Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of software applications.

● Conduct manual and automated testing to identify software defects and ensure product quality.

● Document test results and provide detailed reports to the QA team.

● Identify and report software defects using bug tracking tools.

● Collaborate with developers to ensure that reported issues are understood and resolved.

● Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure the stability of the software.

● Assist in creating and maintaining testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

● Document test results, including defects found, test coverage, and any other relevant metrics.

● Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing testing activities and results.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand requirements and ensure high-quality software deliverables.

● Communicate effectively with team members to report progress, issues, and risks.

● Participate in team meetings and provide input on process improvements and best practices.

● Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.

● Seek opportunities to learn new tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance your skills.



Qualifications and Skills:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

● Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing concepts.

● Familiarity with manual and/or automated testing techniques.

● Proficiency in using bug tracking tools and test management systems.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Attention to detail and ability to follow established processes and procedures.

● Good written and verbal communication skills.
