Print-on-demand (pod) Operations & Strategy Lead

About Us:

DTF Ghana (Direct To Fabric Ghana Ltd) is a fast-growing print-on-demand business focused on high-quality custom printing using DTF, UV DTF, Large Format, and other advanced printing technologies. We're looking for someone passionate, reliable, and technically sound to lead this division—from operations and client servicing to machine maintenance and production strategy.

Your Mission (if you choose to accept it):

As the POD Operations & Strategy Lead, you’ll be the heart of our print division—ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations, servicing equipment, engaging clients (especially B2B), and managing production efficiency and cost.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement processes that improve turnaround time, quality, and efficiency in the POD space.
• Technical Management: Operate and service:
• DTF Printers
• UV DTF Printers
• Large Format Printers
• Laser machinery
• Canon Advanced Office Printers
• Production Costing: Accurately calculate production costs and advise on pricing and margin optimization.
• B2B Sales & Client Servicing: Handle corporate client relationships, manage print briefs, and ensure top-tier customer service.
• Inventory Oversight: Track ink, films, accessories, and spare parts to ensure zero downtime.
• Problem Solving: Quick thinking when machines act up or client specs change last minute.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2–4 years’ experience in a print production or operations role.
• Strong knowledge of DTF and UV DTF printing technology and related equipment.
• Confident in troubleshooting machine issues and handling maintenance schedules.
• Skilled in calculating production costs, setting quotes, and ensuring profitability.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills—especially with suppliers and clients.
• Ability to lead a small team or manage casual staff during peak periods.

Bonus Points (But Not Mandatory):

• Background in t-shirt printing, print design, or colour calibration.
• Familiarity with Adobe software or RIP printing programs.
