Job Description/Requirements
Job Purpose
• To provide technical and operational support in Licensing and Registration for the achievement of the mandate of the organization
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provides input for the formulation of policies of the organization
• Undertakes the review of relevant reports for renewal of teachers license
• Undertakes the vetting of relevant documentation for licensing of teachers
• Supervises the collation of data for the development of guidelines, procedures and processes in the implementation of programmes and activities of the department
• Supervises the collation of data for the registration and re-registration of licensed teachers
• Supervises the review of cases for revocation, withdrawal and refusal of license of teachers
• Supervises the accurate updates of a comprehensive database on the programmes and activities of the department
• Collaborate closely with officers, departments and other stakeholders in the implementation of programmes and activities of the department
• Supervises the collation of data for the development of annual work plans for the department
• Supervises the collation of data for the preparation of the budgets of the department
• Supervises the collation of data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the department
• Supervises and appraises the performance of subordinate staff in the department
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Education or any related field from an accredited tertiary institution
• A minimum of 6 years post-qualification relevant work experience in a reputable institution, 2 years of which must be in a management position
• Must pass a competitive selection interview

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Licensing and registration
