We are seeking an experienced and passionate Primary School Supervisor/Academic Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the academic and administrative aspects of the primary school, ensuring the delivery of high- quality education, promoting a positive school culture, and coordinating academic programs and activities.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership:
- Supervise and support primary school teachers to ensure effective lesson planning, delivery, and assessment.
- Monitor student progress, identify areas of improvement, and develop strategies to address these needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, schemes of work, and curriculum materials.
- Conduct regular classroom observations, provide constructive feedback, and support teacher professional development
Academic Coordination:
- Coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Cambridge curriculum in the primary school.
- Ensure compliance with Cambridge curriculum requirements and school policies
- Analyse student data and make informed decisions to improve academic outcomes
- Develop and manage academic budgets, resources, and materials
- Coordinate school events, activities, and projects that promote academic excellence and student engagement
Teaching and Learning:
- Teach classes as assigned, with a focus on demonstrating exceptional teaching practices, particularly in English.
- Model and promote best practices in teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Support teachers in developing and implementing effective teaching strategies and techniques.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues to promote a positive school community.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents to achieve academic goals and objectives.
- Foster a culture of academic excellence, inclusivity, and respect within the primary school
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. Masters degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience with the Cambridge curriculum.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role (e.g. Academic Coordinator, Curriculum Leader, or similar).
- Proven track record of excellent teaching and learning outcomes, particularly in English.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
- Ability to teach all core primary subjects with a specialty in English.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Cambridge assessment and evaluation procedures.
- Passion for education and commitment to student-centered learning.
